Yesterday was this guy’s thirtieth birthday. With each passing year, I always wonder if this will be the last birthday I get to spend with him. This year is no exception. Thirty is a BIG number! But, it’s also a time to reflect on all the wonderful memories I have with him. He has taught me so much, not only about horses, but about life in general, and he has helped me through so many of life’s up’s and down’s. I love him more than I love most people. So thank you, Champ, and happy birthday. May your golden years shine as bright as your heart.
